Add the page to your home screen
Then it opens with one tap, like an app, and you can turn on notifications so you never miss an update. It takes about a minute.

1 Open the link in Safari
Tap the link the family sent you. If it opens inside another app, like Instagram or Facebook, look for Open in Safari or Open in browser.
On iPhone, this only works in Safari.

2 Tap the Share button
It's the square with an arrow pointing up, at the bottom of the screen.
If you don't see it, tap the three dots ••• at the bottom first, then Share.

3 Tap Add to Home Screen
Scroll down the list if you need to.

4 Tap Add
It's in the top right corner.

5 Open it from your home screen
Find the new icon on your home screen and tap it. Always open the page from this icon from now on.

6 Turn on notifications
Tap Turn on notifications on the page, then tap Allow. You'll get a notification when the family posts an update.

Tap the link the family sent you. If it opens inside another app, look for Open in Chrome or Open in browser.

2 Tap the menu
It's the three dots ⋮ in the top right corner.

3 Tap Add to Home screen
On some phones it says Install app. Then tap Add or Install.

4 Turn on notifications
Open the page from the new icon, tap Turn on notifications, then tap Allow.
